Flyfishing
adventures in the Adirondacks
Available
in the late summer and autumn, we invite you to one of New York State's premier
brown trout rivers, the Ausable River. Flowing through the Adirondack Mountains
in the northern region of New York State, the west branch of the river offers
35 miles of exceptional trout water. With excellent hatches of mayflies, caddis
and stoneflies, fish of up to 7lbs are caught and released every year. This
really is rural North America at it's best with it's densely wooded mountains
and tumbling rivers and streams. At times you will be doing more phot ography
than fishing as we will arrange sightseeing trips to Whiteface Mountain, the Ausable
Chasm and the nearby town of Lake Placid ? the site 2 Winter Olympic Games.
