Fly fishing for Trout and Grayling…surely one of the most affordable foreign fishing trips you will ever experience!

This is a destination that is ideal for a short break of 3-4 days fishing. We can organise your visit to be whatever length you wish. After a 2 hour flight to Krakow, followed by a 4 hour drive, your group will be staying in the South East region of Poland - very close to the Ukraine border.

Rural Poland has not changed for years and here you will be fishing on a vast, wadeable river, surrounded by lush fields and dense woodland.

"A beautiful river below a huge lake offers some of the best fly fishing in Poland - in a fabulous landscape. An incredibly large population of all sized fish live in the river. Good size wild brown trout and grayling are on offer... and somewhere in a deep hole, the Huchen (Danube Salmon) waits to strike and break your tippet...."

You will experience the very best in upstream dry fly fishing forbrowns and grayling of between 1/2lb to 2lbs. Also there is the possibility of hooking a Huchen- the Danube Salmon (weighing over 20lbs).

The dropper on a dry fly is a popular and deadly method and guests have averaged catches of well over 30 fish each day.

You will be based in an old fashioned, traditional lodge for the EXCLUSIVE use of Great Takes Guests. It is within 30 minutes drive of all access points to the river.
